Coliseum Productions has assembled a team of experts second to none. We have over 50 years combined of hands-on show experience from coast to coast and internationally. Our sales executives and operations managers know all the ins and outs of working with exhibitors, from selecting a booth space to helping set up on-site. We are a full-service event production operation, establishing long term partnerships with exhibitors and facilities for the best marketing, advertising, and selling opportunities exhibitors’ money can buy.
Bob Rosen
Director of Sales & Marketing
Bob Rosen has been at the forefront of the log-home and timber-frame industries since 1999, when his company, KQ&R, took over advertising sales for Goodman Media Group, then publisher of Log Homes Illustrated and Timber Homes Illustrated magazines. In 2001, Bob became a part owner and sales manager of the Log Home & Timber Frame Expo, which more than tripled in revenue under his leadership. Heading a team of respected sales representatives, Bob presided over dramatic magazine and expo growth, leading to the eight-figure sale of the Goodman Media franchise to F+W just two years later.
Bob is an avid hiker, backpacker, skier and runner.
David Marquart
Director of Operations
You name it in this industry, David Marquart has experienced it firsthand. David began his trade show career in the fall of 1985 right from college at IPFW. 3,000 Shows in over 200 cities in 30+ states later, David is focusing his 25 years of trade show and special event experience on making Coliseum Productions all it can – and should be.
David is a Fort Wayne native and got his start in the industry by working for a local rental company at the Memorial Coliseum. After learning the ropes and realizing this industry was his calling, David formed Marquart Convention Services, Inc., a full-service trade show and special event contractor in 1987. From there, he worked on almost every event at the Memorial Coliseum as well as countless other consumer and trade events all across the country.
Seeing a need for practical everyday proven technology for trade shows, he formed Advanced Expo Solutions International. Advanced Expo Solutions provides a wide range of expo services, including the state-of-the-art online ticket sales, registration, name badges, and bar code technology used by Coliseum Productions and many other event producers.
David has past, present, and current affiliations with IAEM (now IAEE), ESCA, ASAE, IASE, OASE, MPI, HSMA, ISES, ARA, IAAM, and multiple CVB’s around the country. After a 7-year leadership role which culminated with his Chairmanship of Ohio Valley Chapter of the International Association of Exposition Managers (IAEM, now IAEE), David was selected to the IAEM Services Board. At IAEM’s Expo in 2004, he was awarded the prestigious Merit Award. In 2005, Dave served as Treasurer for the Services Board. In 2006 & 2007, David was vice chair of this board and was asked to serve as chair in 2008.
David is an avid runner, hiker, snowboarder, deep sea fisherman and builds log and timber frame houses “on the side”.
Jean Stockwell
Account Manager & Event Administrator
Before joining CP, Jean worked for 16 years in a variety of roles at Krause Publications – Publishers of Deer & Deer Hunting, Turkey & Turkey Hunting magazines as well as periodicals in the gun, knife, and sports industries. The last 12 of those years were spent working as an event coordinator on sports shows and log home & timber frame expos. She was responsible with lining up facilities for the events and coordinating with exhibitors, decorator and event staff to ensure a smooth-running event for all involved.
Jean is an avid outdoorswoman and enjoys running, hiking, fishing, biking, camping, boating and a variety of other outdoor activities.
James Murphy
Account Manger
James has been involved in the consumer events business for 15 years, most recently as a top salesperson for the Log Home & Timber Frame Expo franchise. He prides himself in getting close enough to his clients to understand and help them address their marketing goals.
A native of British Columbia, James is an avid skier and outdoorsmen.
Karen Tejera
Marketing Consultant & Account Manger
Karen is the owner, producer and promoter of the Ft. Wayne Home & Garden Show, one of the biggest consumer shows in the state of Indiana. Her event-marketing know-how is unsurpassed and invaluable. Karen consults with us on advertising, marketing and PR matters and also manages an account list for our fall shows.
