Bird Dog Selection and Training – Power Point Kennels is a professional pointing dog training and breeding facility located in Ligonier, Indiana. Power Point is home to 6 AKC Master Hunter Titled German Shorthaired Pointers, along with a couple of young dogs who are well on their way to achieving Master and Sr. titles. Dave Troup trains numerous pointing dogs per year and also handles dogs in all levels of AKC hunt tests across 6 Midwest states. Dave is also an AKC Judge for all hunt test levels of pointing breeds. The kennel is primarily a training facility that raises 1-2 select litters of German Shorthair puppies per year

Captain Jeff Eck, of “The Rodfather” will go over the tackle, techniques and locations for getting in on the action and some simple methods to rig your boat for hooking up with the hard fighting fish of our great lakes.
Bait Selection and Techniques for Early Spring Coho Fishing on Lake Michigan - Hone your skills in catching early spring Coho salmon in the southern ports of lake Michigan. Tackle, techniques, locations and timing are all critical in success. Capt Jeffrey Eck of “The Rodfather” will show you his methods used for successful Coho fishing and tips on which port, hot spots and what time of year you can fish.
How to Select and Train a Hunting Retriever – Trinity Oaks Labs are home to FIVE Hunting Retriever Champion titled dogs, and holds its place as one of the TOP training and breeding kennels in the region. They will be holding 4 seminars covering Selecting, Starting, and Training Your Hunting Retriever, as well as providing demos.
