No summer doldrums here at the Outdoor Sports, Lake & Cabin Show offices! The phones have been buzzing since the initial press release for our one-of-a-kind show scheduled for Fort Wayne’s Memorial Coliseum March 12-14, 2010.
Here’s a quick update:
Booth contracts are rolling in from fishing charter operators, hunting outfitters, boat dealers, log cabin and timber frame producers and builders, rustic furniture & décor companies, green-building consultants and more. Based on the great response, we have reserved an additional hall in the Coliseum and have begun discussions with venues in other markets for additional shows.
Serious sponsorship discussions are underway with major local and national media outlets
and with major tri-state area retailers. The shows seminar program is taking shape with exciting talks and clinics lined up for fisherman, hunters, log home enthusiasts, country decorating and more.
Tough times call for new ideas, and we believe it’s our brand new show concept that’s making folks take notice. OSLCS is not just another sportsman’s show and it is not just another log home show. It’s a TOTAL LIFESTYLE EXPERIENCE for outdoor enthusiasts (what better place for that than northern Indiana, with its 101 natural lakes!).
